This is the new Michael Jackson song (This is It) and you know it’s not half bad! Very Jackson 5ish, i’m really quite (pleasantly) surprised, it’s much better than i thought it would be. What a damn shame he’s not here to perform it

Well what a shocker. Dead at 33 with no obvious cause. They’re saying he just went to sleep and never woke up. It’s the best way to die but not at that age I wondered if it was drugs related, i guess time will tell. RIP.

Tis a lovely sunny day here in old Blighty. I’m sat in the summerhouse on my little netbook having a break from laying flooring in the office. T’other half is trimming the conifers, Eiko is bird watching and Pippa is racing around with her squeaky toys. As usual

I’ve been researching my family starting with the 1911 census that is now online. I’ve only managed to get back as far as 1796 so far but that’s not bad for a couple of hours work. Found some unusual names in my family such a Juda, Simeon and Levi, which i thought was a modern name but i guess not. Now then, how to get back further than 1796!?

It’s official, middle age is approaching fast (well … 36 in a couple of months). We’re spending our Sunday doing paperwork. I’m about to work my way through a load of forms to be filled and all i can think about is catching up on Ugly Betty. Bugger!

January 10, 2010 | 9:34 amGod it’s addictive isn’t it! I used to be a regular poster at forums but i’m knocking it on the head. I was finding that i was spending a good chunk of free time just on catching up on numerous forums and then updating my own forum. Which meant my own website was becoming neglected and i wasn’t having enough time to just casually browse the web. I want to spend more time on photography, videomaking and geekery so something had to give. Can’t say i’m missing it either!
