We took Pip for a walk up Horseshoe pass in Llangollen yesterday and she loved it! It was bright but very windy. I imagine it’s quite bleak in the winter. I took the pics and video on my little Lumix TZ7 compact camera and am quite pleased with how they came out. Scuse the camera shake and wind noise on the video, it was all we could do so stay standing upright never mind hold the cameras still!

30th May and summer has arrived in the UK. Really warm day today. We went to Ellesmere to film the geese and what-not, i’ll upload the vid when i’ve edited it. Got a bit sunburned (which i hate!) despite having SPF25 so it’s SPF50 for me from now on. Here i am chilling out
ps, i had 6 attempts at uploading that photo through Firefox and every single time Firefox crashed. Firefox is crashing on me quite a lot lately (despite several re-installs), it’s very dodgy with links so i think i’m going to switch back to Internet Explorer (gasp!). This site actually looks the way it’s meant to in Internet Explorer, it doesn’t look right in Firefox.

It’s official, middle age is approaching fast (well … 36 in a couple of months). We’re spending our Sunday doing paperwork. I’m about to work my way through a load of forms to be filled and all i can think about is catching up on Ugly Betty. Bugger!

January 10, 2010 | 9:34 amGod it’s addictive isn’t it! I used to be a regular poster at forums but i’m knocking it on the head. I was finding that i was spending a good chunk of free time just on catching up on numerous forums and then updating my own forum. Which meant my own website was becoming neglected and i wasn’t having enough time to just casually browse the web. I want to spend more time on photography, videomaking and geekery so something had to give. Can’t say i’m missing it either!
