Eee what a lovely day! I’m outside in the summerhouse tapping away whilst Eiko sits next to me on his deckchair and Pippa is flying around the garden trying to get me to chuck her ball. You just know we are going to pay for this good weather we’ve had this last few days with the mutha of all downpours. Oh well.

I took this photo on my Milestone (Droid) and as you can probably see, since it updated to 2.1 firmware the camera is shit! So much so that i’m thinking of rolling the firmware back because the camera is quite an important feature to me. I haven’t been overly impressed with Motorola at all.

I’m also wondering about getting a little netbook (I will NOT buy an iPad!) for casual web browsing when i’m in the garden, or just want to quickly check something on the web or whatever. Although i might wait and see if there are any tablet devices other than iPad coming out that look promising.

Speaking of android, if you use an Android device then give SwiftKey a go, it’s a brilliant keyboard replacement app that predicts what it thinks you will type next and it is spookily accurate! God it’s addictive isn’t it! I used to be a regular poster at forums but i’m knocking it on the head. I was finding that i was spending a good chunk of free time just on catching up on numerous forums and then updating my own forum. Which meant my own website was becoming neglected and i wasn’t having enough time to just casually browse the web. I want to spend more time on photography, videomaking and geekery so something had to give. Can’t say i’m missing it either!

Well i have nothing specific that i want to write about so i’ll just type a load of old shit. (What do you mean what else is new)?

First of all, i think my love affair with Dannii Minogue is over. For weeks i have thought of her as Saint Danniius, the fair x-factor judge, the judge who is always pleasant and constructive. Naa, she still the same sour bitch she was when she threw that little strop on the This Morning show all those years ago (they showed some of her old music videos and she was seriously pissed off!) Anyway, i ended my affair with this tweet:

Well can you that believe that the first decade of the new Millennium is almost over already? It doesn’t seem like 5 minutes ago since me, the hubby and Bertie the hamster we’re welcoming in the noughties. I remember when i was little i’d think to myself, wow in the year 2000 i’ll be 26, i’ll be soooo old! Now i’ll be 36 in the new decade and i’ll be sooo old!
