It’s snowing heavier now than last time…

Now this is something that really peeves me! I was reading a discussion on a friends forum ( For or against tougher anti-pap laws ) and the subject of over protective parents came up. There was a story not too long ago about a guy who was taking photos of his own two children playing on a slide when he was accosted by a demented bint:

But the innocent snaps of seven-year-old Cory, and Miles, five, led to him being called a ‘pervert’. The woman running the slide at Wolverhampton Show asked him what he was doing and other families waiting in the queue demanded that he stop. One even accused him of photographing youngsters to put the pictures on the internet.

Luckily i’ve never had this happen to me but being an amateur photographer i’m a member of a photography forum and i’ve read several instances of this kind of thing happening. It happened to a woman who was taking pictures of her own child at the park, some guy stormed up to her and demanded to know what the hell she thought she was doing.

Seriously, these people need a big hard fucking bitchslap!

I like to photograph places, you know cityscapes, castles and buildings and obviously there are going to be people about. How does that make you dodgy!? Last i heard it’s a free country and you know what, if you’re that much of a hysterical idiot that you can’t handle photographers minding their own business then you have no business bringing your children out in public. Don’t want cameras within a mile of your child? Not my problem, it’s yours!

It’s like they think because they have a child with them the rest of us have to make way as they storm through dictating this and that. I repeat. Fuck off!

ps,  i had 6 attempts at uploading that photo through Firefox and every single time Firefox crashed. Firefox is crashing on me quite a lot lately (despite several re-installs), it’s very dodgy with links so i think i’m going to switch back to Internet Explorer (gasp!).  This site actually looks the way it’s meant to in Internet Explorer, it doesn’t look right in Firefox.
