The lovely pippa doing one of her favourite things – tugging! These are the first pics i took using the new flickr app for Android.  It has its own camera which lets you add various effects to the pictures you take before you then upload to flickr.  It’s pretty good actually!

Ok, i kinda really like the new Timeline! It looks a lot better than i thought it would.  But i was reading an article last night on Mashable that is a bit of a worry, this bit in particular:

…..Facebook’s new system to auto-share what you do around the web may catch many Facebookaddicts off guard. In fact, even those people who know exactly how this new feature works may need to be on guard against sharing some seriously embarrassing updates.

For those not in the loop: Facebook is making sharing even easier by automatically sharing what you’re doing on Facebook-connected apps. Instead of having to “Like” something to share it, you’ll just need to click “Add to Timeline” on any website or app, and that app will have permission to share your activity with your Facebook friends.

What activity, you ask? It could be the news articles you read online, the videos you watch, the photos you view, the music you listen to, or any other action within the site or app. Facebook calls this auto-sharing “Gestures.”

So, fellow lovers of Mudwrestling Transvestite Midget porn, watch the fuck out.  In theory this should only be a problem for apps that you allow to connect to your Facebook but this is fucking Facebook, so anything is possible.

In other words, more security issues.  Now everyone can see every comment you make to absolutely everyone.  I kinda like keeping my family and some internet friends separate so this is fecking annoying.

The more and more facebook tries to completely weave itself into every aspect of out lives i will start to lay off it.  If more people join Google+ then i’ll do my posting there, if not then i just won’t post anywhere other than here.

Yet again i have been stung by PayPal! I had an email from them again with the dreaded words “A payment you received has been reversed“.  It should not be allowed to happen!  The transaction took place 8 days ago – why can’t they take the money out of the buyers account instantly and if there’s no money there to have, then tell me instantly so i don’t go sending out goods to people who can’t pay for them.  And if it turns out they can pay but just decided to be arsey and reverse the payment then it shouldn’t be fucking allowed!  As i said before, you could never walk into a shop, buy something then walk around to the till and grab your money back so that you have both your goods AND the money!

Paypal absolutely sucks, they are useless – but they are owned by eBay and eBay is 100% for the buyer and not the seller so no surprises there that the seller gets shafted.  Ridiculous!

Scuse the lack of updates, it hasn’t been the greatest of months.  My Mum isn’t well at all and today she ended up in hospital so i hope everything works out for her. #worried
