Why so serious?

Ok i should probably explain – we’re not actually miserable! I set the camera on it’s timer and the camera was resting precariously on a wonky rock so the expressions were us waiting to see the camera tumble down the steps! Anyway it didn’t. I wanted a pic of us there because of the lovely dappled light. I hate to see portraits donw in mid-afternoon sun, i always think they look washed out so i really like the light here.
